The 2009 Fit costs more than the 2008 model. With the small increase in cost, you can enjoy a longer standard equipment list - 15-inch wheels, telescoping steering wheel, MP3/WMA-capable CD player, etc.

i think civic hybrid sales suffered because it was directly compared to the conv. civic by potential buyers, who would rather pay less up front than to save money long term in gas. still, at least honda is coming up with some serious hybrid plans, unlike most other automakers.
